SWITZERLAND : PLAYERS TO WATCH

Forward Alexander Frei, 26, one of the leading scorers in the French League last season (22 goals in 40 games), connected for seven goals in 10 qualifiers. The Swiss will be relying on Frei for the bulk of the scoring load if they are to do anything. Left fullback Ludovic Magnin's specialty is set pieces that set up goals. Defender Philiippe Senderos, 21, who performs for Arsenal, could be a star of the future. Veteran captain Johann Vogel and Raphael Wicky bring leadership to the midfield.
