SWEDEN : HOW THEY QUALIFIED

Sweden (8-2-0, 24 points) finished second to Croatia (7-0-3, 24) in European Group 8 as one of the top two runners-up (which received automatic qualification). The Swedes qualified with a 3-1 victory over Iceland on Oct. 12, overcoming a one-goal deficit. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrik Larsson and Kim Kallstrom connected for the winners.
